What really sucks about Dusty is that the same original 3, had been...

together, and doing their thing, for 50 years. No lineup changes, no band infighting that was ever made public, they seemingly were genuinely friends, brothers, and musical partners.

It's gotta sting pretty bad to Gibbons and Beard. Truly like losing a brother.

Eddie Van Halen was a major gut-punch. Hard to take that his massive talent and influence was gone.

I won't be bummed to the point of staying home for days, but it will major league suck when Robert Plant and Jimmy Page, and even John Paul Jones check out.

I will be major bummed when David Gilmour or Nick Mason pass as well Huge Floyd fan. I appreciate Roger's creative ability and have paid to see him twice in concert, but it won't bum me out. He is what he is, and when his number is called it will just be, ya know? But yeah, Dave or Nicky.... that will suck.

Back to Dusty and ZZ.... I think they, and Aerosmith are the last bands from the 70s big rock era that were still original members. Not hugely relevant any more, but still the original members. Of course Aerosmith has gone thru changes and iterations but they got back to the original 5 from the beginnings.

A lot to be said for bands of folks who can make it 5 decades or more.

The Stones are never gonna die. No way. Hahahaha. Richards and Jagger must clearly be immortal.
